Returns & Refunds Policy

Thank you for shopping with Henry O'Boyle Illustrations. I want you to be happy with your purchase, and this policy explains your rights when it comes to returns, exchanges, and refunds.

Your Right to Cancel

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item(s), without giving any reason.

To cancel, please contact me at oboylehenryyy@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery, stating your order number and the item(s) you'd like to return.

You then have a further 14 days from telling me you wish to cancel to send the item(s) back.

Condition of Returned Items

Returned prints must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition you received them

  • In their original packaging where possible

  • Free from damage, marks, or signs of handling beyond simply examining the item

I reserve the right to refuse a refund, or deduct an amount, if the item shows signs of damage or excessive handling.

Return Shipping Costs

  • If you are returning an item because you've changed your mind, you are responsible for the cost of return postage.

  • I recommend using a tracked service, as I can't be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit back to me.

  • If the item arrived faulty, damaged, or incorrect (see below), I will cover the cost of return postage.

Refunds

Once I've received and inspected your returned item, I will process your refund within 14 days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method and will include the standard delivery cost you originally paid (though not any express/upgraded delivery costs).

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your print arrives damaged, faulty, or isn't what you ordered, please contact me at oboylehenryyy@gmail.com within 14 days of receipt, ideally with a photo of the issue. I will offer a full refund or replacement, and I'll cover the return postage costs.

Custom or Personalised Items

Please note that custom, commissioned, or personalised artwork is excluded from the right to cancel, as these items are made specifically for you, unless the item arrives faulty or damaged.

How to Start a Return

  1. Email oboylehenryyy@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return.

  2. I'll confirm the return address and next steps.

  3. Package the item securely (prints can be damaged easily in transit) and send it back using a tracked postal service.

  4. Once received and inspected, your refund will be processed.
